In this workshop we will learn how to blend colors with long and short stitches to create a woodland animal embroidery sampler. We will use embroidery floss, embroidery hoops, embroidery needles, and water erasable pens. Several different sampler options will be provided and each student may pick the woodland animal of their choice to embroider.
This is an intermediate embroidery class. Shannon’s Blooming Botanicals workshop is a recommended prerequisite to this class.
We recommend you pack a lunch or a snack--we'll take a short break partway through the class to stretch, eat something, and shake it out!
